When you think of a cleaning service, you will likely imagine someone who comes to your home to take care of the regular house cleaning routine for you or a commercial cleaning company with janitors who tend to the regular ongoing cleaning needs of businesses. What you may not think of are specialty cleaning jobs and those who tend to them. You can read more here about specialty cleaning and get a better grasp of what it is and what those type of cleaning can entail.

1. Cleaning and maintenance of floors

While your regular cleaning services would include floor cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, a specialty floor cleaning service would be more detailed. For example, it may include shampooing, steam cleaning, stripping, polishing, waxing, or bussing the floors.

2. Cleaning walls

Specialty cleaning can also include things like cleaning the interior walls of a structure, as well as the ceiling. Along with this type of cleaning, things like the insides of cupboards and closets can also be included. This is something that doesn't need to be done often, but occasionally normal use of a home or business will eventually show and the walls and ceiling can begin to look a little dirty and/or dusty. The cupboards and closets can gather dust, as well as other debris just from everyday use. Cleaning the walls and ceiling can not only help make the rooms brighter, but it can remove allergens to offer a more allergy-friendly environment.

3. Cleaning up after an event

Specialty cleaning can include having the cleaning company come out to clean up after an event. When you have a large event or party, it can leave you with a lot of cleaning up to do and you may not have the time or even the physical ability to clean everything in the time frame you need it to be cleaned in and this is why it's so helpful to be able to hire cleaners to come to take care of everything for you.

4. Rental unit cleaning

When you have a tenant move out of one of your rental units, they can leave it a mess. The sooner you get the place cleaned up, the sooner you can get a new renter in. This is important because the longer the rental unit sits vacant, the longer you will go without being able to earn income off of that property, but you will still be obligated to pay the expenses for it like the mortgage and utility bills that you cover. A cleaning service can come out anytime you have renters move out to quickly and completely clean the units.
